Un-natural disasters Lost once in a life time family & vaction photos. Had all the tools (extra HD, DVD writers, other computers) to make backups and didn't. One day, The Thing whose Name we don't speak came to town. US$1500 to major recovery service vendor to recover drive. I back up now, full system disk clone, HD images and & copy files to removable media.
